Area Attractions Many people think that Southern Nevada is
only comprised of the casinos. We local people know better. Some
visitors stay in casinos during their entire visit. That is great
if you want an intense fast action gambler's weekend.
If you would like to find out more about Las Vegas
than just the casinos step outside. The area has some great
non-gaming attractions. If you would like a side trip off the
Strip, I recommend the Mt. Charleston Hotel, The Lodge at
Mt. Charleston on weekends, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, the
Colorado
River, the Valley of Fire, and
the Red Rock Recreation Area. Air tours over the Grand Canyon are
available also.
Should you be looking for something new and
exciting, contact ATV Action Tours, Inc. (Las Vegas' Premier Scenic Tour
Operator). Offered are 32 unique adventures, Whitewater Rafting, Jet Skiing,
Off-Road Adventures, ATV-Quad Excursions, plus Scenic Land Tours. Both Air and
Helicopter Tours are also offered. Destinations include: Grand Canyon,
Death Valley, Valley of Fire, Mt. Charleston, Red Rock Canyon and much more. try ATV Action Tours.
Adventure Las Vegas www.adventurelasvegas.com
provides a wide variety of outdoor tours in the southwest.
If you're into heights,
try sky diving in Boulder
City! Ask your bell captain for further information.
A great place to check out is the Liberace
Museum
www.liberace.org located
at the southwest corner of Tropicana Avenue and Spencer, approximately 2 1/2
east of Las Vegas Boulevard.
